RockShox Vivid Air (2024+) Full DIY Rebuild Toolkit
The 2024+ Vivid Air is RockShox’s answer to the Float X2, with a larger negative chamber, adjustable HBO, and much better reliability. It’s a serious enduro/DH shock, but also more involved to service.
Important: You must remove the rebound adjuster knob before servicing. This is covered on page 44 of the official SRAM manual.
This kit is built for home mechanics and occasional rebuilds. If you plan to service RockShox Vivid Air shocks frequently, consider the official RockShox pin spanner wrench, it’s steel, CNC-made, and holds up much better to repeated torque cycles than ours.

Sealhead Torque Reality Check
RockShox lists 30–34 Nm for sealhead torque. That is excessive.
- Fine threads amplify torque very quickly
We recommend 20–25 Nm. More than enough, far safer.
Use our Torque Calculator to match force to wrench length.
Overtightening doesn’t make it better. It just breaks things.
