Graduated IFP Depth Tool

Precision depth tool for accurately setting the Internal Floating Piston (IFP). Dual-scale (mm + inches), twist-lock design, compatible with most piggyback shocks on the market.

What this tool is for

Designed for piggyback-style shocks where the IFP sits near the top of the reservoir. Ideal for rebuilds on shocks such as: Float X2, DPX2, Super Deluxe, DHX2, and similar designs.

Important note: If your shock does not have a piggyback and requires an IFP depth greater than 50 mm (most Monarch R / RT3 / RL and other inline shocks), you must use the Extra-Long IFP Depth Tool .

How it works
  • Find the correct IFP depth specified for your shock
  • Slide the collar and twist to lock at the desired depth
  • Insert the tool and gently push the IFP to position from the reservoir opening
  • Close the bleed screw and pressurize the damper to spec
