Shockwave Parts is a one-person operation. Every tool is designed, tested, produced and supported by me personally. If you're having an issue, please contact me before requesting a return. Most problems can be solved quickly with a message.
If you're having trouble with a tool, need help with installation, compatibility, setup, or troubleshooting, please contact me first. I personally provide support by email and Instagram and can often solve the issue much faster than a return.
EU Customers – Right of Withdrawal
If you reside in the European Union, you may exercise your legal right of withdrawal within 14 days of receiving your order.
To submit a withdrawal request, please use the form provided below your order and include your order number, name and contact information.
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless otherwise required by applicable law.
Once your request is received, you will receive confirmation and instructions regarding the next steps.
Before Requesting a Return
Many returns happen simply because a tool is being used incorrectly, a compatibility detail was missed, or a setup step was overlooked.
If you contact me first, I can often help resolve the issue immediately. I regularly assist customers with installation questions, usage techniques, troubleshooting, compatibility checks and general advice.
Sometimes a quick email exchange saves days or weeks of shipping products back and forth.
Physical Products
Shockwave tools are designed primarily for home mechanics performing maintenance on their own bikes.
While the vast majority of tools perform reliably for years, no manufacturing process is perfect. If a tool arrives damaged or develops a problem during normal use, contact me and I will do my best to find a fair and reasonable solution. Depending on the situation, this may include troubleshooting assistance, replacement parts, a replacement tool, or another practical solution.
In some cases, a replacement part, a revised version, additional guidance, or another practical solution may resolve the issue much faster than a traditional return.
Please note that these products are not intended for heavy commercial workshop use.
Bleed Fittings & Small Components
Some small components, especially bleed fittings, require careful handling and proper installation techniques.
Please read all instructions carefully before use. These parts are designed for their intended purpose, but excessive force, incorrect installation, improper thread engagement or misuse can damage them.
If you're unsure about anything, simply contact me before proceeding. I'd much rather answer a question than have a customer accidentally damage a tool.
Digital Files
Product pages for digital downloads contain detailed descriptions, images and warnings intended to ensure customers fully understand what they are purchasing before completing their order.
If you are uncertain whether a digital file is suitable for your needs, please contact me before purchasing. I will gladly answer any questions and help determine whether the product is appropriate.
Because digital files can be downloaded immediately, please review all product information carefully before purchase.
Shipping Costs & Returns
International shipping is expensive for both customers and small businesses.
If a return is required, customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless otherwise required by law.
In many situations, especially when only a small component is involved, I may be able to provide a faster and more practical solution than returning an entire order.
Every situation is different, so please reach out and I'll do my best to help.
My Philosophy
I believe returns should generally be the last option, not the first.
Most issues can be solved through support, troubleshooting, replacement parts, updated instructions, or simply a quick conversation.
I genuinely want every customer to succeed with the products they purchase. If something isn't working, please contact me first and give me an opportunity to help.
