Fox FIT Damper Full Clamp Set Body, 8mm, and 10mm

Full set of clamps for FIT damper service, includes damper body clamp, 8mm shaft clamp, and 10mm shaft clamp. Compatible with nearly all FIT forks.

⚠️ Warning: Never clamp a FIT damper body or damper shaft directly without the proper tool. This combo set covers every shaft size you're likely to find in Fox FIT forks.

Always clean with isopropyl alcohol and wrap in paper towel (1 layer) before clamping, it increases friction and lets you use less clamping force.

Usage manuals:
- Clamp Large Diameters
- Clamp Small Shafts

 What It Does

  • Damper body clamp for holding the FIT damper during bleeding or compression assembly removal
  • 8mm and 10mm clamps for holding the damper shaft to service the rebound assembly or mid-valve
  • Covers all Fox FIT styles: FIT4, FIT RC2 and older FIT dampers
  • Essential for bleeding, sealhead removal, and shim stack work

 Compatibility Notes

  • Fits Fox 32, 34, 36, 38, and 40 forks using FIT dampers
  • If you have a Step-Cast or FIT Terralogic fork (even more rare..), I think its around 25mm, so a bit bigger.
  • These older Terralogic dampers require tons of cone wrenchs though, you might not be able to open it..
  • This clamp does not work on GRIP dampers, see our GRIP Damper Clamp
Tech Note:
Fox FIT forks can use either 8mm or 10mm damper shafts depending on year, model, and upgrade history. This kit includes both to guarantee compatibility.

 Bleeding Tips

  • FIT dampers are bladder-style and require special care when bleeding
  • Fox recommends a dedicated syringe kit, but you can also use a bare hose from a brake bleed kit and a gravity bleed method
  • Remove the bleed screw, fill with oil, cycle the shaft slowly, and gently squeeze the bladder to release bubbles
  • It can take a long time, be patient and make sure no air remains before sealing
  • Do not open the bladder or replace it unless it's damaged, it’s tricky to reinstall and rarely needs service
Disclaimer: Do not clamp without cleaning. Always use proper wrap technique and refer to the usage manuals. This tool is intended for home use only, not for commercial shop service. Terms of Service.
