Fox FIT Damper Full Clamp Set — Body, 8mm, and 10mm
Full clamp set for FIT damper service, including the FIT damper body clamp, 8mm shaft clamp, and 10mm shaft clamp. Works with all FIT forks and all shaft sizes.

What This Clamp Set Does
- Securely holds the FIT damper body for bleeding or top-cap compression assembly removal
- 8mm clamp for older FIT + some VVC shafts
- 10mm clamp for modern FIT and most Fox air shafts
- Allows safe removal of rebound assembly, sealhead, piston, and shim stack
Compatibility Notes
- Fits all Fox 32 / 34 / 36 / 38 / 40 with FIT dampers
- Step-Cast + FIT Terralogic are ~25mm (rare)
- Terralogic requires many cone wrenches, opening is difficult
- Not compatible with GRIP dampers → Use GRIP Damper Clamp instead.
Tech Note — Shaft Sizes
Fox FIT forks can use either 8mm or 10mm damper shafts depending on year or upgrade history. This kit includes both to guarantee universal compatibility.
Bleeding Tips for FIT Dampers
- FIT = bladder-style damper → takes time to bleed properly
- You can use the official Fox syringe or a brake bleed hose for gravity bleed
- Remove bleed screw → cycle shaft slowly → squeeze bladder gently to purge microbubbles
- Be patient: very small bubbles rise extremely slowly
- Do NOT open the bladder unless damaged, reseating is very difficult
