Why it’s cheaper: Fox sells both tools separately (~$100 each). This replaces both.

1. Release all air
2. Remove rebound adjuster (2mm)
3. Loosen both lower-leg nuts
4. Remove plastic crush washers if possible
5. Thread the tip fully onto the rebound shaft until it bottoms
6. Strike with rubber mallet while holding fork upright
7. Repeat on air-shaft side (only 2-3 turn, don’t bottom it)
8. Slide off lowers and here we go!

Never hit the center damper rod directly.

Do not strike the shaft directly. The tool transfers load around the VVC/mid-valve rod exactly as Fox intended.
