• Most issues come from dynamic seals.
• Rebound problems are usually fixed by proper bleeding and IFP setup.
• If you’re refreshing seals only, the piggyback should stay closed.

The piggyback and damper body are static-sealed with red Loctite. Do NOT open them unless they are actively leaking. Opening sealed parts without cause usually creates more problems than it fixes.

• Clean the shaft or reservoir with isopropyl alcohol before clamping.
• Wrap with dry paper towel to improve grip and protect surfaces.
• Apply heat when Loctite is present (eyelet or piggyback).
• Snug in the vise only, do not overtighten.
