Marzocchi Bomber CR / FOX VAN  Shaft Clamp

It allows you to hold the damper shaft in a vise for basic eyelet service or to inspect the rebound side of the shock. An optional piggyback clamp is available for holding the reservoir, but you probably won’t need it unless the shock is leaking to the outside.

 What It Does

• Lets you remove or reinstall the eyelet
• Allows gentle clamping of 1/2" damper shafts
• Optional: Hold the piggyback if you must open it (not recommended)

 Why You Might Not Need This

• Most issues are from shaft seals, IFP seals, or air leaks
• The rebound circuit is rarely the problem, bleeding usually fixes rebound symptoms
• If you’re just refreshing seals, you don’t need to open the piggyback

 Setup Tips

• Clean shaft or reservoir body with isopropyl alcohol before clamping
• Wrap with paper towel to improve grip and protect the surface
• Apply heat if Loctite is involved (eyelet or piggyback)
• Do not overtighten in the vise, just snug enough to hold securely
