Fox GRIP2 Damper + Air Side Full 200h Service Toolkit (2019–2020, Non-VVC)
This combo kit includes everything you need to perform a full 200h service on your FOX GRIP2 non-VVC fork, damper + air spring rebuild. Includes the same clamp setup as our damper-only kit, but adds specific tips and references for the air spring service.
Kit works on all non-VVC GRIP2 forks from 2019–2020 (36mm & 40mm). If you already own the 3-in-1 GRIP Clamp Kit, don’t re-buy it!

What's Included
- 2-in-1 GRIP Shaft Clamp
- 10mm Shaft Clamp (GRIP damper shaft + air shafts)
- GRIP Damper Body Clamp
- Dust Wiper Seal Press Tool (your selected fitment)
- Lower Leg Driver (your selected damper/air driver)
- Plastic Float NA2 Bullet Tool for 10mm air shafts
Make sure you have the other basic fork tools.
No bleed syringe required, this damper self-bleeds during assembly.

Oil Info
- Use Fox 4wt in the damper
- Use 4wt in the lower legs on the damper side (GRIP2 ingests oil over time)
- Use 20wt Gold on the air shaft side
- Grease air spring seals with Slickoleum (never Vaseline)

Pro Tips & Procedures
- GRIP2 adds true HSC and HSR adjusters, excellent range, no need to revalve unless racing
- Rebound side has more small parts but is easy with proper tools
- Only slide out the sealhead from the rebound side of the 10mm damper shaft, no need to touch the mid-valve shim stack

Air Spring Service
- Remove air shaft
- Clean all internals
- Regrease seals with Slickoleum
- Reassemble with care
- Replace foam rings and dust wipers (soak foam rings in 20wt Gold before installing)
- Open all adjusters before reassembly or bleed will fail
- Never insert the damper shaft fully after the bleed is done, leave 2–3 cm from the top
- Grease dust wipers and lower leg bushings generously with SRAM Butter
- This kit is ideal for full 200h maintenance: do damper, air spring, and lowers at the same time
Warnings & Disclaimer
- Do not use an adjustable wrench, use a 26–28mm chamferless socket for the top caps.
- Clean shafts with isopropyl alcohol before clamping
- Do not open shim stacks unless leaking or revalving
