Dust Wiper Seal Press Tool for Fork Lower Legs by Shockwave Parts
Find the Right Dust Wiper Tool Instantly
Just type in your fork model like: Formula Selva, EXT Vaia, or Bomber 888 and our Dust Wiper Finder will tell you the exact size you need, even if you don't write the full name like just Lyrik, it will give you suggestions. If your fork depends on the year or variant, it will ask automatically. No guesswork. No mistakes.
Try the Dust Wiper FinderThis tool makes installing dust wiper seals simple, fast, and perfectly straight, without damaging anything. No more struggling with sockets, blocks of wood, or uneven pressure only to end up wrecking your seal and scraping off your beautiful Kashima coating on your Fox 38 because it went in crooked. Line it up, press it in, and you're good to go.
All the design and development is done by passionate riders and technicians studying engineering at university in Canada.
It's 3D printed right here in Quebec using a high-strength, compliant plastic that won’t damage your lower legs or deform over time. This tool is built by riders and techs who actually work on suspension. Nothing is made in China or overseas, everything is made locally and inspected by hand, one by one.
Every tool is tested in-house by our technicians and is constantly being improved. They're already used by hundreds of riders who prefer to service their own suspension at home.
The tool features a center-mounted alignment guide that ensures a perfectly straight press into the stanchions. Still, take your time, a common mistake is pressing too fast or too deep, which means you’ll have to pull the seal out and start over.
Driver Types:
You can choose between short and long drivers:
The long driver gives you better leverage and smoother pressing, especially for tight seals, perfect for workshop use or frequent servicing.
The short driver is more compact, great for travel kits or tight toolboxes.
Ultimate Kit:
We also offer the Ultimate Kit, which includes all sizes from 30 mm to 40 mm, mounted on a custom display base designed to keep your setup clean, organized, and pro-looking. Everything stays in place, easy to access, and ready to use.
Important Note:
This tool is designed to be used with a rubber mallet only. No metal hammers, no excessive force (and honestly, take your time anyway). A few light taps are all it takes. And realistically, if you’re doing a proper fork service, you’re already going to need a rubber mallet to remove the air shaft and rebound knob, so might as well grab one if you don’t already have it.
Oh, and don’t leave the tool baking in the sun for two weeks or in a hot car in the middle of summer. Just be nice to it, and it’ll last a long time.
Important Note for Pro Users:
These tools are designed for home mechanics, not high-volume shop use. If you're using them 10 times a day, they won’t last forever, and that’s not what they’re made for.
This website is built for mountain bike enthusiasts who want to take maintenance into their own hands, without breaking the bank or getting lost in overpriced pro tools. If you've always wanted to service your own suspension but didn’t know where to start, you're in the right place.
