Β Pro Tips
- Fully open rebound and compression before bleeding, or it wonβt work
- Only disassemble the GRIP compression/mid-valve if they leak, they last forever otherwise
- This clamp kit works for GRIP, FIT4 (10mm shaft, not damper tube), FIT RC2 and most air shafts (Only Cane creek uses 8mm air shafts).
- Never insert the damper shaft fully after the bleed is done, always leave 2-3cm from the top when stroking or the damper will lose some oil and not have enough oil inside.
- Grease the Dust Wiper Seals insides and the lower leg bushings generously with SRAM Butter.
Disclaimer: This is a DIY home toolkit. No guarantee of compatibility with taper-cast forks. Always read fork markings and verify air shaft and damper type before opening. To be certain, you can enter the serial number in for Website. See Terms of Service.
