This clamp is designed to grip the small DHX2 damper shaft securely in a bench vise during service operations, mainly when removing or reinstalling the eyelet. The internal bore is precisely matched to the 2016–2020 DHX2 shaft diameter, with tolerances down to 0.01 mm.

• 2016–2020 DHX2 only, not compatible with 2021–2025 or 2026+ monotube versions
• Bonus use: also works very well on 2016–2020 Float X2 when using the no-eyelet-removal technique to open the damper. This avoids unnecessary wear on your main 9 mm X2 clamp.

Clamping small shafts requires extra care. Poor preparation is the main reason clamps slip or break.

• Clean the shaft thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol (multiple passes)
• Never clamp a dry, oily, or contaminated shaft
• Wrap the shaft with dry paper towel to maximize friction
• Clamp evenly, do not overtighten
