All versions (including Prime) use the same 14 mm shaft, and the rebuild procedure is nearly identical.

• Jade (inline reservoir): Can be fully hand-bled using a glove bleed method, no syringe or fitting required.
• Jade X / Jade X Prime: Use a long Reverb-style barb from most brake bleed kits. It fits the bleed port well enough to be held in place during bleeding.
• Trunnion-mount shocks: Consider adding the Trunnion Shock Vise Holder to protect the shock body while torquing the eyelet.
• Any basic bleed kit will work. The long plastic Reverb-style fitting works best. The metal versions tend to seal poorly. A good option can be found here: Reverb Bleed Kit

• Always depressurize the shock fully before disassembly
• Clamp only in the center of the shaft, using isopropyl-cleaned surfaces and a paper shim or towel to improve grip
• Do not attempt this service if you are not confident, the system contains high pressures and delicate parts
