Charger R + Air Shaft 200h Rebuild Toolkit

This kit includes everything you need to rebuild both the Charger R damper and the air spring in compatible forks from around 2020–2021. The Charger R looks like the Charger RC, but has no compression knob on top.

What’s Included:

  • Charger Damper Body Clamp (same fit as Charger RC, make sure to check damper shape!)
  • Dust Wiper Seal Press Tool (choose size at checkout)

What to Know:

The Charger R is basically a Charger RC without the external adjuster, internally it’s the same. That means the damper rebuild is just as straightforward. You’ll only need the single damper clamp to open the damper and hold it steady during reassembly.

The air shaft works like any other RockShox unit from this era. Use DebonAir or DebonAir+ compatible guides. If you have ButterCups, the rebuild will be slightly more advanced but still manageable if you go slow and avoid over-greasing.

As always, take your time, don’t overfill with grease, and be careful not to nick or scratch the air shaft during removal or installation.

Clamping Tip:
If your tool uses a big-diameter shaft clamp (like 20mm or more), make sure you're clamping it properly.
