What This Is

This is only the adapter, not the full Negative Spring Compression Tool. It’s meant to be used with that tool when you you need the use a 10' Knipex Soft Jawed Wrench to screw the damper Sealhead. It clips onto our Sealhead Negative Spring Compression Tool and gives Knipex pliers a solid contact area for compression.

We recommend this if you already own our tool but need to upgrade for compatibility with newer coil shocks. 

It only works with our tool, we never had the real rockshox tool so we can't make it.

• This adapter is included for free with the full tool kit
• This page is only for buying an extra or replacement adapter if you lost it (try not losing it..)
• Made specifically for Knipex 10" pliers (jaws should be nearly parallel)
• Only needed on 2023+ Super Deluxe Coil and 2025+ Vivid Coil
  • It clips onto our compression tool
  • It doesn't hold by itself on the knipex plier but when it's in position and compressing the sealhead, it doesn't move

Why This Exists

RockShox redesigned their counter-measure system, the old tools no longer work unless you buy their expensive wrench. This adapter solves the problem using tools most home users already have.
