Adaptive Air Token for Fox 34 / Marzocchi Z2 / Fox 36E
Patent Pending Technology
Compatible with all Fox 34 models, Marzocchi Z2, and Fox 36E (E-Bike). Not compatible with Fox 36 NA2 or Fox 38.
Run lower pressure. Get better support. Skip the harsh damping.
The VSS is 100% polymer and uses virtual volume technology to temporarily change your fork’s effective air chamber volume based on impact intensity and duration, automatically, in real time.
VSS Configuration Tool (Required)
Answer a couple quick questions and in 30 seconds you’ll have the ideal VSS setup for your fork. Token size and default nozzle are selected automatically. Plug and play.
→ Open VSS Configuration ToolTwo additional nozzles are included if you ever want to fine-tune the support feel.
What's Included
- 1× VSS Smart Air Token for Fox 34 / Z2 / 36E
- Nozzle size 3 (default installed)
- +1 softer nozzle (size 4)
- -1 firmer nozzle (size 2)
- Nozzle wrench
Pro tip: Size 3 is the best starting point for most riders. Adjust only if needed.
How It Works
Virtual volume, not physical volume. The VSS changes your fork’s effective air chamber volume dynamically based on impact speed.
- Cruising: Plush, like 1 token
- Hard riding: Builds support (3–5 tokens equivalent)
- Big hits: Strong support mid-stroke, then softens near bottom-out
You stay higher in travel when needed while keeping full usable stroke.
Common Questions
Q: Will this fit my fork?
A: Yes. Works with all Fox 34 models, Marzocchi Z2, and Fox 36E.
Q: Is it compatible with Fox 36 NA2 or Fox 38?
A: No. Those forks require different VSS versions.
Q: Why is the default nozzle size different?
A: Smaller air chambers (like Fox 34 / Z2) require faster pressure response, so size 2 is the correct baseline.
Q: Does it need maintenance?
A: : No. 100% plastic with no moving parts. Conservative lifespan is 2-3 years, but realistically it could last a lot longer.
Q: Do I need to change pressure?
A: Usually no. Some riders drop ~5 PSI for more grip.
Q: Is this just a token?
A: No. Tokens are static. The VSS adapts dynamically based on impact speed.
About the nozzles: The nozzle controls how fast air moves inside the VSS. Faster fill = softer feel. Slower fill = more support.
