RockShox Rush RC + 200h Air Shaft Rebuild Toolkit
This kit includes everything you need to rebuild both the damper and the air shaft on Rush RC-equipped forks during a 200-hour service. Fits ZEB, Lyrik, and Pike BASE forks (2023+).
Rush RC dampers are found in BASE models and are easy to work on. Youβll know you have one if the damper top cap takes a 24mm socket, not a cassette tool like Charger RC. For the air shaft service, youβll get a matching Dust Wiper Seal Press Tool of your choice, so you can do the full service properly.
Clamping Tip:
If your tool uses a big-diameter shaft clamp (like 20mm or more), make sure you're clamping it properly.

Included in This Kit:
Service Notes:
- 25mm Damper Body Clamp: for clamping the Rush RC damper safely
- Dust Wiper Seal Press Tool: choose the correct size at checkout
Use the clamp with soft jaws in a vise. The press tool ensures seals go in straight without damage.
- Follow the SRAM manual from page 164 onward for the damper
- The air shaft rebuild uses standard air spring procedures.
- Donβt over-grease the air piston. Too much can affect performance or even create pressure spikes
- Make sure to install the air shaft straight and donβt scratch the shaft surface when sliding it into the stanchion
- Always fully depressurize the air spring before beginning work
