Universal professional needle adapter (fill tool) for charging the IFP / bladder chamber on FOX, Öhlins, X-Fusion, Cane Creek and most other shocks using a rubber plug / pellet.

What this tool does

This adapter lets you charge the IFP or bladder chamber through the rubber plug / pellet using a standard hypodermic needle, with no proprietary needle assembly required.

The body is CNC machined stainless steel for durability, with a copper extender carrying a standard Schrader valve thread so the threads on your pump or filling tool stay protected.

The needle interface is a 3D printed press fit designed for common medical needles, so replacements are cheap and available almost anywhere in the world. A cap is included to keep the adapter clean between jobs.

Compatible with
  • FOX
  • Vorsprung
  • Öhlins
  • X-Fusion
  • Cane Creek
  • Most other shocks with a rubber plug / pellet in the IFP or bladder chamber

Connects to any pump or filling tool with a standard Schrader thread.

What's included
  • The Ifp needle charging adapter

Needles are not included. Shipping needles internationally is complicated.

Needles you'll need

Use standard hypodermic medical needles in 23 gauge (blue) or 22 gauge (black).

They are sold everywhere and they are cheap. Boxes of 100 typically run around $15 CAD on Amazon or from any pharmacy or farm supply store.

Because the needle is a consumable, you can swap in a fresh one whenever the tip dulls instead of replacing the whole tool.

How to use
  • Press fit a fresh needle onto the printed interface
  • Thread the adapter onto your shock pump or filling tool
  • Insert the needle into the centre of the pellet while rotating it gently, never forcing it
  • Inflate slowly to your target pressure
  • Pull the needle out quickly and immediately snug the pellet
  • Cycle the shaft to confirm it returns smoothly.

Never bend the needle. Rotating gently on the way in is what keeps the tip straight and the pellet undamaged.

⚠️ Disclaimer

This tool is intended for riders performing damper service where the IFP or bladder chamber needs to be recharged.

Needles are sharp and the chamber is pressurized. Wear eye protection, handle needles carefully, and dispose of used ones properly.
