Float X2 Air Can Wrench (All Years - 2016+)

Absolutely required if you want to open the air can on any Float X2. This is the only way to remove the negative sealhead.

What It Does

Grabs the locking ring on the negative sealhead (3-tooth pattern)
Works with every Float X2 model from 2016 to 2026+
Required for both routine and full rebuilds

No Float X2 can be opened without this tool.

⚠️ Two Versions Available

Plastic Insert Version: Comes with 3 replaceable inserts. Designed to break first, not your shock. Ideal for home mechanics doing 1–3 rebuilds.
Optional 7075 Aluminum Insert: For repeat use. Not indestructible, but close. Requires more care and proper handling. For experienced users only.

TIP: You can always buy the wrench with plastic inserts now and add the 7075 metal insert later if needed.

About the 7075 Insert (PLEASE READ)

This insert is NOT chamfered. We skipped this step to keep the cost low for you.

All laser-cut surfaces are sanded by hand, but still rough
No edge rounding, we simply don’t have time to do it ourself
We save more than 15$ per socket by making them like that so we can have lower prices for you guys!
Take 5 minutes and make the edges smoother.
Wrap your shock body with a rag or towel before using!
You can chamfer it yourself with a file or 80 grit sand paper.

If you want a perfect, shiny part, buy the $150 tool from Fox. But if you're careful and read this whole page, you'll get through it just fine. We tested this setup ourselves, and it works.
