Float X2 (2021–2025) Split Bleed Drip Tray Bundle
This bundle includes two dedicated split bleed drip trays made of TPU that press-fit around the damper tube and the reservoir. They catch excess oil during final assembly and can be removed even with the air piston in place.
Important Compatibility Info
- Compatible with Fox Float X2 (2021–2025).
- Designed specifically for the Float X2 air shock.
- Uses the same REZI Clamp interface as the DHX2 bundle.
- Not required for DHX2 (one-piece version available).
The Float X2 requires a split design because the air piston prevents removal of a one-piece tray after reassembly.
What This Tool Does
When finishing a bleed, reinserting the mid-valve and bearing assembly displaces oil. Without protection, oil runs down the shock body.
These trays press-fit around:
- The damper tube
- The reservoir opening
Because the trays split in half, they can be removed after assembly even with the air piston blocking the tube. The split geometry allows removal without dumping the collected oil.
Usage Tips
- Install both halves before reinserting internal components.
- Ensure proper alignment so the tray seals evenly.
- After final assembly, separate the halves slowly and remove.
- Clean with alcohol after use.
- Designed for workshop use.
