The QuickDrop Lite is a simplified, digital-only version of our fork-removal system. It keeps your headset bearings, spacers, and stem aligned while the fork is out, so you can drop a fork fast without turning your bench into a headset parts explosion.

This is the Top Part only, redesigned with a built-in handle. It’s slightly different from the “true” QuickDrop (Top + Bottom twist-lock system), but it works extremely well for quick swaps and shop-style service.

How It Works

The QuickDrop Lite slides into the steerer tube from above. Its tip is sized to match the inner diameter of a standard steerer and uses tight tolerances to stay put during removal.

Remove your top cap, insert the QuickDrop Lite into the steerer, then push the fork downward. As the fork drops, the tool follows smoothly into the headset area and helps keep your bearings seated, spacers in order, and stem aligned.

Reinstalling is the same idea in reverse: guide the steerer back up while lightly pushing on the tool. The headset stays centered, so everything goes back together cleanly.

Important Notes

This is the Lite version (Top Part only). It does not include the bottom support piece or any twist-lock engagement. If you want a full “locked” system for storage, that’s a different product.

The lower bearing may stay on the fork during removal depending on the headset and how it’s fitted. That’s normal. The goal here is fast service and keeping the stack organized, not long-term storage.
