DHX2 (2021–2025) Bleed Drip Tray Bundle
This bundle includes two dedicated bleed drip trays made of TPU that press-fit around the damper tube and the IFP reservoir. They catch excess oil during final assembly so it doesn’t drip all over the shock when reinstalling the bearing assembly and the IFP.
Important Compatibility Info
- Compatible with Fox DHX2 (2021–2025).
- Designed specifically for the DHX2.
- Not compatible with Float X2.
- For Float X2, a split-version tray is required (sold separately or in dedicated bundle).
The Float X2 cannot use this one-piece design because the air piston blocks removal.
What This Tool Does
When finishing a bleed, reinserting the mid-valve, IFP, or seal head always causes oil displacement. Even if you are careful, oil runs down the body. It is simply part of the process.
These trays press-fit around:
- The damper tube
- The IFP reservoir
They catch displaced oil before it reaches the shock body, decals, or clamps. Once assembly is complete, remove the tray and no oil on the shock!
Usage Tips
- Install the tray before reinserting internal components.
- Remove slowly after assembly to avoid spilling collected oil.
- Clean with alcohol after use.
- Designed for workshop use.
