DHX2 / Float X2 Damper Body Shaft Clamp (2021–2025)

This clamp is made for serious damper service on 2021–2025 Float X2 and DHX2 shocks. It grips the big damper body so you can lock it in a vise and unscrew it, usually to fix a leak or change the internal damper seal.

⚠️ Important Notes

• Only use this if your shock is leaking. If it’s working fine, don’t touch it. You could damage something for no reason.
• The damper body is installed with red Loctite, you’ll need heat and proper technique to break it loose.
• Do not overtighten in the clamp. If you crush the body or ovalize the shaft, your shock is done.
• Only buy this if you know what you're doing, or you're absolutely sure you need it.

 What It Works With

• Fox Float X2 (2021–2025)
• Fox DHX2 (2021–2025)

 What It Doesn't Work With

• Float X2 or DHX2 (2016–2020): different size, not compatible
• 2026+ shocks: unknown damper body size (we haven’t tested yet)

 What It Does

Lets you hold the outer damper body securely in a vise while you unscrew it from the inner cartridge. This is usually done to replace a broken damper cylinder on a float X2 or fix an oil leak around the base. Works with both the polished Float X2 and threaded DHX2 damper bodies (2021–2025 only).

 Setup Tips

• Always clean the damper body thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol before clamping.
• Wrap the shaft in a single layer of dry paper towel to improve grip and prevent slipping inside the clamp.
