Prototype Tool: Fox X2 Bleed Adapter
This adapter is designed to simplify damper bleeding on Fox DHX2 (2021–2025) and Float X2 shocks. It will also be required on the newer 2026+ monotube X2 dampers due to the piggyback orientation, which makes the rubber glove method nearly impossible to use. If you have the parallel piggyback version, this tool should still work.

This tool has been tested successfully by 10+ amateurs and does what it’s supposed to do: it gives you a clean, sealed way to push/pull oil through the bleed port using a syringe.

We still include for free the Plastic version in DHX2 and Float X2 2021-2025 kits until we fully switch to the metal-thread production version.
It’s no longer in the “looking for testers” phase. This is a proven tool, and we’re improving durability for the long term.

Why This Tool Exists +
Bleeding the 2021–2025 X2 dampers is frustrating. The adjuster layout makes it hard to get a clean bleed without a syringe. It’s possible to do it without one, but it’s slow, messy, and rarely perfect.
- Bleed and fill the damper using a standard brake bleed syringe
- Connect directly to common plastic hoses used in DIY bleed kits
- Create a sealed connection using an O-ring interface
It’s built around how most people actually bleed dampers at home: syringe + plastic hose, no proprietary equipment.
Production Version (Metal Threads)
The early plastic prototype worked, but it could be damaged if over-tightened. The production version uses metal threads to make it much more robust for repeated service.
Pricing
Planned retail price: around CAD $20.
That’s roughly 80% cheaper than the closest comparable tool, while staying purpose-built for real-world DIY suspension service.
