The Quick Drop Fork Dummy lets you remove and reinstall a fork in seconds while keeping the headset, spacers, and stem aligned and in place.
Simply pull the fork down, then push it back into position when reinstalling. The tool keeps everything centered so the steerer slides smoothly back through the headset and spacers.
No dropped bearings. No spacer juggling. No headset falling apart during service.

How It Works
The tapered tip of the Top Part fits inside a standard steerer tube and uses a strong integrated neodymium magnet to stay engaged during fork removal.
Remove the top cap, insert the tool into the steerer tube, then slide the fork downward.
As the fork moves down, the Quick Drop stays aligned inside the frame and headset, holding the bearings, spacers, and stem together.
The magnetic tip also helps guide the fork back into place during reinstallation for faster and smoother alignment.
With the Top + Bottom Kit, the lower part locks into the frame to support both ends of the headset for added stability and short-term storage.
Standard vs Extended — Which one should you pick?
Standard (Most bikes)
- Fits most modern bikes: optimized for normal headset and spacer stacks
- Compact and lightweight: ideal for regular workshop use and fast fork removal
- Best choice for: most trail, enduro, DH, and modern MTB setups
Extended (Tall head tube setups)
- Longer internal plunger: designed for unusually tall head tubes
- Better compatibility: useful for older bikes, some DH frames, Banshee bikes, and oversized cockpit setups
- Same functionality: only the internal plunger length changes
- Ideal for: bikes with tall head tubes or large spacer stacks
The Standard version fits the large majority of bikes.
Choose Extended only if your bike has an unusually tall head tube.
Locking Mechanism
The Bottom Part locks into the lower headset area using a simple twist-lock system.
Align the internal key with the open channel, then rotate about 180° in either direction to lock it into place.
The system holds the headset securely aligned while remaining easy to unlock and remove without tools.
Reinstalling the Fork
Guide the steerer back into the frame while lightly pushing on the top part.
The magnetic tip helps center and align the steerer immediately for fast and controlled reinstallation.

Intended Use

For long-term storage or transporting the bike without a fork installed, use the full Steerer Tube Dummy instead.
