Its tip is sized to match the inner diameter of a standard steerer and uses tight tolerances to stay put during removal.\u003c\/p\u003e\n  \u003cp\u003eRemove your top cap, insert the QuickDrop Lite into the steerer, then push the fork downward. As the fork drops, the tool follows smoothly into the headset area and helps keep your bearings seated, spacers in order, and stem aligned.\u003c\/p\u003e\n  \u003cp\u003eReinstalling is the same idea in reverse: guide the steerer back up while lightly pushing on the tool.
